Zheng, female, 53, had operation of ovarian cancer more than 6 years ago. The patient was diagnosed as ovarian cancer 6 years ago and underwent surgical treatment in local hospital. The resection of uterus, oviduct, ovary and metastatic carcinoma of diaphragm was proceeded during the operation, postoperative stage 3C. After operation, the patient was given chemical therapy (paclitaxel and carboplatin) for 6 cycles and recovered well. The cancer recurred in 2005(Ca125 once rose to 250) but tumor lesions were not found. The disease condition was not controlled by oral administration of the traditional Chinese medicine. So the patient received systematical chemotherapy again (liposomal-doxorubicin+ carboplatin + P53gene) for 6 cycles. Tumor marker decreased to normal in reexamination. In the imaging reexamination in March of 2007, multiple metastatic sites in liver and abdominal cavity were found. After this the patient was only given radiotherapy for many times. In June of 2007, the tumors metastasized to brain, which caused left hemiplegia. The patient received surgical treatment and postoperative radiotherapy for more than 20 times. In August of 2007, metastatic sites in liver were found again. So the patient received systematical chemotherapy again (paclitaxel + carboplatin + Avastin). The postoperative recovery of the patient was bad with the feeling of acratia, dizziness, spontaneous sweating and poor appetite and sleep quality. In March and April of 2008, the patient received the treatment of CIK+DC twice. Symptoms were relieved after treatment. In November of 2008, metastatic sites in liver were found again. So the patient received surgical treatment again. In December of 2008, the patient received photodynamic therapy and targeted therapy. Before stem cell transplantation, the patient’s mental status was okay, stamina was a little bad, appetite and sleep quality were bad, urine and stool were as usual. Nothing abnormal detected in imaging examination. However, because of chemoradiation for many times, the hematopoietic function of the patient was slightly inhibited. The values of erythrocyte, leukocyte and platelet were lower than normal.
